"The Router Table Project"

I came across a post on a forum about using Shellac and sawdust as gap filler, and
thought I would give it a try. Well my results were not what I expected, but looking back
I understand my error. I used colored Shellac (Amber) and when combined with saw dust
the color level intensifies. See the picture below of the miter.

However I think this trick will work as long as a clear Shellac is used.
